Education and individual care

Pages and articles provide general information. They do not diagnose a condition, establish eligibility for a birth setting, or replace assessment by your own clinician. Reading an article, sending an inquiry, or booking an introductory conversation does not by itself establish a clinical relationship.

Who is behind the practice

San Diego Midwifery is being developed by Tayna Chessman, LM, CPM. Some scheduling, contact, and verification links use the existing Birthstone Midwifery systems. Those names are disclosed where the links appear so the transition is clear.

Sources and review

We link to relevant primary educational sources where useful, including public-health and professional resources. Medical recommendations still depend on your individual circumstances. Questions about an article should be brought to your clinician rather than treated as a personalized instruction.

Service availability

A page title, city reference, or educational topic is not a guarantee of appointment availability, insurance participation, or eligibility. The IUI service and birth center are described as planned; current care must be confirmed directly.

Some photographs are licensed stock images chosen to communicate the feel of family-centered care. They are not presented as photographs of the practice’s own clients or a completed birth-center facility.
