Contact San Diego Midwifery
If you’re visiting us because you’re expecting a baby, congratulations. If you are hoping to grow your family or seeking support after birth, welcome. Wherever you are in the story, you do not have to arrive with every question worked out.
Perhaps you want to share the news, explain what you hope will feel different in your care, or simply meet the person who might be beside you through this chapter. “Talk to Tayna” is a complimentary 30-minute place to begin.
Start with a little of your story and the question that brought you here. A complimentary care chat gives you time to meet Tayna, discuss your priorities, and learn what an appropriate next step might be.
Talk to Tayna — a 30-minute consultation
Choose an available time for a complimentary 30-minute introductory conversation. Scheduling opens through the Birthstone Midwifery Calendly account used by Tayna’s practice.
This is a chance to discuss services, timing, location, and fit. It is not a clinical assessment, an emergency consultation, or confirmation of enrollment.
What to share first
Tell us your name, best contact method, city or ZIP code, and the service you are seeking. If you are pregnant, you can share your estimated due-date period. If you are exploring IUI, mention that you are asking about the planned conception service.
Keep your first message brief. Medical records, insurance documents, and detailed health histories belong in the practice’s designated intake process.
Phone and email
Call (760) 264-4077 or email birthstonemidwifery@gmail.com. These contact routes connect with Tayna’s existing Birthstone Midwifery practice. They are not monitored continuously.
Insurance questions
Use the benefits-verification form for a coverage review. If you do not know which service applies, ask us before submitting. A verification request is not a booking or a promise of coverage.
Existing clients and urgent concerns
Use the communication instructions provided in your care agreement for clinical concerns. Do not wait for an online appointment or general email response when you need urgent care. Call 911 in an emergency.
Confirm the location before traveling
Service inquiries are welcome from San Diego and North County. Appointment format and location are arranged individually. The planned San Diego birth center is not open; do not travel to an assumed center address.
A first conversation, without a finished plan
You are welcome to say that you are still deciding. Tell us what you would like to understand about the care, the people involved, your location, or payment. You can also share what would help you feel comfortable during the conversation.
An introductory chat is separate from clinical assessment and enrollment. We will explain the current options and what needs to be confirmed before care can begin.
Questions, answered
Does booking a care chat reserve my due date?
No. Availability, records review, assessment, and a signed care agreement are separate steps.
Can I request accessibility or language support?
Yes. Tell us what would help before the appointment so we can discuss available arrangements.
What happens after you book
1. Choose a time and share the basics
Use the consultation calendar on this page. Share your city or ZIP code, the service you are exploring, and your estimated due-date period if you are pregnant. Bring your questions; you do not need a finished birth plan.
2. Meet Tayna and talk about your priorities
Your complimentary 30-minute conversation is a chance to discuss the care you want, previous experiences you would like understood, and availability for your location and timing. Partners or a trusted support person are welcome to join the conversation.
3. Understand your next steps
If you would like to explore care further, we discuss the intake and records review, individual clinical assessment, and care agreement needed before enrollment. Insurance questions are reviewed for your specific plan and service. Booking this chat does not reserve your due date or establish clinical care.
Before your appointment, you can get to know Tayna, read about home birth, or explore insurance and payment.
Ask about the planned San Diego office
Tayna is establishing a San Diego office. Its location and opening date are still to be announced, and visits at that office are not yet available to book. You can use your consultation to share interest, discuss current care options, and confirm appointment locations. Birthstone’s established office remains in Murrieta.
You can begin with a conversation.
Tell Tayna what brings you here—the care you are hoping for, the questions you are carrying, or simply where you would like to start. We can talk through current availability and what the next step would involve.
